day one

Today I started the new job!

My day mainly consisted of reading training materials and background information about the lab and our research, 8 hours of reading...FUN. Haha, to be honest it was pretty interesting stuff so the time passed quickly. Tomorrow I'll be getting more into the details of the grant and then I'll begin experiments. I'm pretty excited about the whole situation.

Oh, and I read that exsanguination is not an approved method of euthanasia...in case you were curious.

The Beginning

I'm starting a new adventure, in a new state, with a new job and new people to meet.

I took a job with Indiana University Medical School at the Institute for Psychiatric Research. I'll be working in an electrophysiology lab studying schizophrenia and I'm pretty stoked about it. Totally nerd style, but its my jam.

Right now I'm working on a few mixes as well, stay tuned for that. Or don't...whatever, but the beats will be sick. Oh speaking of illness, some girl I know was at a party in the 801 and a random dropped my DJ name and claimed I was, "the sickest thing since the plague." I'm pretty hyped on being compared to the plague.
